Samsung 'Galaxy Note7' name confirmed by leaked pics

 Can't wait for Samsung's next entry into the plus-sized phone category? A tweet from Evan Blass aka evleaks reveals three colors of what will apparently be called the Galaxy Note7 (no space?), in Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Blue Coral. There have been rumors about the phone and its number-skipping name floating around, but the clear images confirm this is what we'll see announced this summer. Naturally, there's a stylus and curved edges, while the specs cited by Blass on Android Police include a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, 12MP/5MP front/rear camera setup, 64MB of storage and IP68-rated water resistance.

AT&T reaches deal to buy Time Warner for more than $80 billion

 AT&T has reached a deal to buy Time Warner for between $105 and $110 per share, The Wall Street Journal is reporting. That puts the deal's value at more than $80 billion. A formal announcement from the two companies is expected as soon as Saturday night. The deal will allow AT&T to expand into the television business, picking up channels like HBO and CNN. Time Warner shares surged about 2.76% during after-hours trading. Former Fox executive Peter Chernin will likely oversee Time Warner's operations, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Chernin declined a comment to The Hollywood Reporter. The Time Warner deal will likely face intense scrutiny as it goes through the regulatory process. However, there is some precedent. Apple sued in China over showing of war film from the 1990s

Apple is being sued by a subsidiary of China's broadcasting regulator over a propaganda film more than 20 years old, in the latest legal wrangling for the tech giant in China in recent weeks. A Beijing court says the case has been brought by a production center that alleges that Apple has infringed its exclusive online rights to broadcast a film that depicts Chinese fighting against Japanese soldiers in northern China in the early 1930s. The plaintiff is also suing the developer and operator of the Youku HD app available on Apple's App Store that it says enabled users to watch the film and caused it "huge economic losses," according to the Beijing Haidian District People's Court. The court says it has accepted the case brought by Movie Satellite Channel Program Production Center that comes under the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television.
